how it came to be
After working as a hairstylist for 20 years, Kimmie decided it was time for her to start her own business. But as a New Yorker, she knows how precious time is for her fellow New Yorkers and that many people have to set aside a large chunk of time in their schedule if they want a new haircut or style. So she started a business in which she travels to the homes of her clients to offer her styling service there.
Focusing on children's hair cuts initially, she found that it was much more convenient for moms and dads when she brought the salon to their home rather than them going through a hassle to bring the kids to the salon. With 10+ years worth of experience working with children's hair, Kimmie knows exactly how to handle any child's tantrum during a haircut, whether it be wailing, whining, screaming, or jumping.

She first began her stylist career in South Korea, where she worked as an Assistant Stylist to Production department at Marshall Hair salon, then as the Head Director Stylist at Leekaja Beauty Salon, then as the Senior Stylist at Hidy Hair Studio. While at those various salons, Kimmie not only cut and styled clients' hair but also organized many fashion shows like "Wave in Seoul" and participated in product launching shows for Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and more. She also participated in different beauty pageants like Miss Korea Beauty Pageant and Korea Super Model Selective Annual Convention as a hair stylist. In the U.S., she has worked at Tribeca Salon as a stylist and Cozy's Cuts for Kids as a project stylist for more than 10 years.
